The Bible does not want for spooky or scary concepts and ideas. There is a specific creature mentioned repeatedly in the Bible which causes fear and wonderment, the Leviathan. Whether this creature is still lurking in the depths, or has been tamed by the ancients of old, we still deal with our own Leviathans today. The choices we make, from the effects of peer pressure or the crippling weight of decisions past, can haunt us more than a scary movie or story. The freedom of release from those past choices are found in God’s kingdom and Jesus’s forgiveness. We hope everyone has a safe, and thought provoking, Halloween.
